INDIVIDUAL COUNSELING

Sometimes we all need someone to talk to who isn't going to judge what we say and will really listen to us. Individual counseling provides a safe place to explore the challenges you are experiencing and find healing and change in your life. Many of those I work with have been hurt by someone or something and are searching to make sense of what has happened and what they can do to feel better. We can experience freedom from past hurts through therapy. Common reasons to seek individual counseling include anxiety, increased stress, consistent negative thoughts about self or others, feelings of disappointment, grief and loss, trauma, women's issues (such as infertility, miscarriage or infant loss, postpartum concerns, etc), depression, relationship difficulties and more. Individuals I’ve seen in therapy report feeling more stable, empowered, secure in themselves, and less inhibited by the not-so-great things that have happened in life.
